Why industrial wastewater needs application-specific biology

Industrial effluent varies with raw materials, production schedules, cleaning chemicals and source segregation. A culture selected for domestic sewage should not automatically be assumed suitable for a high-strength or inhibitory industrial stream.

The Nanozyme application approach

Bionics reviews wastewater characteristics, plant configuration, biomass condition and treatment objectives before recommending an ETP, aerobic or anaerobic grade. The culture supports the compatible biological stage within the existing treatment train.

Integration, not replacement

Nanozyme does not replace oil separation, pH correction, coagulation, advanced oxidation, membranes or other treatment required by the wastewater. Stable results depend on effective pretreatment, oxygen transfer, loading control and monitoring.

Building an operating programme

A practical programme defines culture activation, dosing location, baseline data and review points. Plant teams should change one variable at a time and compare trends over complete treatment cycles.
